Dry your clothes quicker, whatever the weather – no tumble dryer required
It’s time to say goodbye to wet clothes draped over radiators. With the cost of energy rising the way it is, you may even be reluctant to switch your heating on at all at the moment, but the weather doesn’t always make it easy to dry clothes outdoors, and they can often take a long time to dry on standard airers indoors. And these days, not everyone wants to use a tumble dryer – they’re not the gentlest way to get clothes dry anyway, especially your precious delicates and woollens. Who hasn’t accidentally shrunk a favourite jumper or a treasured T-shirt in the heat of a dryer?
That’s where our exclusive range of Dry:Soon heated airers comes in. Made from robust yet lightweight aluminium, they dry your clothes gently, and can be configured to suit whatever you’re drying – everything from socks to sheets and towels. They’re energy-efficient, costing just pennies to run.* They’re easy to move around, fold down small for storage, and there’s one to suit every home. What’s not to love?
Why buy a Dry:Soon heated airer from Lakeland?
Everything we sell undergoes rigorous testing to ensure it’s second to none, and our Dry:Soon range is no exception. You can buy cheaper heated airers elsewhere, but we’re confident the patented thermostatically controlled heating elements in our range make it the best choice you can make for your clothes. And hundreds of our customers agree – just take a look at some of the reviews on our website. Here’s what Mrs Sampson had to say:
“I purchased this as a replacement for my tumble dryer, to cut back on electricity costs. I use it with the cover on and I can fit a full load of washing on and it dries overnight, also cuts back on having to iron my clothes too! Folds away for easy storage too.”
And we think it’s safe to say that Sarah-Jane Statham loves hers:
“This product is even better than expected. I knew it would dry but it dries much faster than I anticipated and without making clothes crispy and stiff. I have the airer and cover and definitely think they’re excellent value for money.”
Mr Morgan’s happy too:
“I bought this after a recommendation from a friend and it didn’t disappoint! Does a great job drying a full load and no more wet clothes on radiators!!”
We realise a heated airer is an upfront investment, but it is an economical way to get your clothes dry quicker, plus it’s covered by our 3-year guarantee so you’ll know your money’s been well spent. And remember, Mr Morgan’s friend recommends it.
So let’s work out which Dry:Soon heated airer is best for you.
Meet the Dry:Soon family
Dry:Soon Mini 3-Tier Heated Airer – £139.99
Ideal for smaller homes or smaller spaces, the 3-Tier Mini will still take care of a decent amount of washing – up to 15kg over 13 metres of drying space. With side supports to keep it stable, it’s easy to move around and position the way you want it. Folding down to just 8cm deep, it’ll easily slot into a little gap down the side of furniture or against a wall to keep it safely out of the way when not in use.
Dry:Soon 3-Tier Heated Airer – £179.99
If you’re a family that does load after load of washing, this heated airer could well be a lifesaver. A step up from the mini, it offers a generous 21 metres of drying space, and holds up to 15kg of washing on its 3 tiers. It’s easy to move around to where you need it and has side supports to keep it stable. Like the mini, it folds to 8cm deep for convenient storage.
Dry:Soon Deluxe 3-Tier Heated Airer – £219.99
The Deluxe version is a feature-packed step up. As well as 21 metres of drying space (holding up to 15kg of washing), it also has a handy timer and two open sides so it’s easier to dry items like towels and duvets. The control panel is higher up for convenience, and there’s a clip-on container for stowing the plug. You can also add castors (sold separately – see below) so it’s even easier to move around.
Dry:Soon Foldable Heated Airer – £99.99
For those who are looking for a simple storage and portable option, the Dry:Soon Foldable Heated Airer is the best heated clothes airer for you. Whilst still boasting a 150cm height, the foldable airer shrinks down to just 28cm, making it easy to pack and travel for drying on the go. It has a built-in fan to circulate hot air around your clothes and a fragrance dispenser for eliminating bad smells.
Accessorise, accessorise
To get even more out of your Dry:Soon heated airer, and help speed up drying time and maximise space, we’ve developed a range of handy accessories.
Cover up
Keeping the heat in to help clothes dry quicker, a cover will make your airer work more efficiently (and you won’t have to look at your washing either), while the mesh panels at the sides will stop things getting too hot. The front panel unzips for access if you want to move washing around, and you can also zip up your cover to use as a storage bag for your folded airer to keep it dust-free while not in use.
On the shelf and hanging around
You know what it’s like – you try to hang your silky garments on your airer and they just slide off the bars onto the floor. Dry:Soon have thought about that. They’ve taken care of your socks too. With mesh shelves designed for both the 3-Tier and the Deluxe, it’s so much easier to get your smalls and delicates dry without incident by laying them flat on the shelves. And keep your socks in check with the 6-Peg Sock Hanger, which attaches to the bars of any Dry:Soon, or the 30-Peg Mesh Shelf with Hanger, which hangs down from a bar, providing a flat surface for small items and pegs for socks or smalls.
Move it
Make your Dry:Soon Deluxe Heated Airer truly mobile with this set of easy-fit, smooth-running castors, which make it an absolute doddle to move your airer around your house in between drying sessions, and when it’s full of washing (don’t forget to unplug it first).
Some hints and tips to get the best out of your Dry:Soon electric heated airer
Make sure your room is well ventilated to avoid condensation.
Use a cover to trap the warm air in – your clothes will dry much faster. You can use a sheet if you don’t have a bespoke cover.
As warm air rises, the clothes on the top shelf will dry first. When dry, take them off and move everything else up a shelf to speed up drying time.
Give each item of clothing two rungs – more for larger or thicker items.
