Air Fryer Christmas Cookie

Our perfectly festive Christmas cookie is made in the air fryer in less than 10 minutes. Spiced with ginger and other festive ingredients, what a fabulous Christmas Eve activity with your little ones.

Ingredients
- 200g softened butter
- 150g brown sugar
- 50g granulated sugar
- 1tbsp mulling syrup
- 1/2tbsp golden syrup
- 300g self raising flour
- 1tsp mixed spice
- 25g steamed ginger
- 75g dark chocolate chips
Method

Beat the butter, sugar and syrups together until soft and creamy

Mix in the flour, spices, mulling syrup and add the chocolate chips and ginger pieces

Divide the mixture into pieces and roll into balls using your hands

Place well apart on a piece of grease proof

Bake in your air fryer at 160 for about 8 - 10 minutes depending in size of your balls or until a pale golden colour

Leave to cool in your air fryer for a few minutes to firm up and then remove from air fryer and finish cooling on a wire rack
