Maple and Bacon Butter

Ingredients

  • 250g Softened butter 
  • Smoked bacon rashers 
  • 3 tbsp Maple syrup 

Method

  1. Cook the bacon until crispy, then pour over the maple syrup and leave to cool.
  2. Chop into small pieces.
  3. Mix the bacon with the butter.
  4. Place onto cling film, roll into a cracker, twist the ends, and freeze.
  5. When cooking your turkey, soften the butter. Rub half over the bird before roasting.
  6. Melt the remaining butter gently and brush over the turkey before serving.
