Crushed Minty Peas

Ingredients

  • 500g frozen peas 
  • Small handful finely chopped mint (or mint sauce) 
  • 1 tbsp crème fraiche (or natural yoghurt) 
  • A pinch salt 
  • A pinch pepper 

Method

  1. Cook the frozen peas as per the instructions on the packet for 2-3 minutes
  2. Drain the peas well
  3. Add the peas into a bowl, along with the mint and crème fraiche
  4. Add mash with a potato masher
  5. Season with salt and pepper
