Air Fryer Chocolate Brownie with Chocolate Eggs Recipe

Method

1. Start by cracking the eggs into a large mixing bowl. Use a fork or whisk to beat the eggs before adding in the sugar. Mix until smooth.
2. Next, melt the butter. You can use a bowl over a pan of simmering water, or in the microwave – check and stir the butter every 10 seconds until it’s liquid.
3. Mix in the unsweetened cocoa powder into the melted butter. Add the vanilla and salt.
4. Slowly add the chocolate mixture (must be cooled down) into the egg mixture, then fold in the flour.
5. Preheat your air fryer to 180C. This should only take 5 minutes.
6. In the meantime, grease your Air Fryer Silicone Mould.
7. Pour the brownie batter into the prepared moulds and spread it out evenly. The bake time should be between 15-17 minutes, or until you see a shiny crackly top.
8. Remove the brownies from the air fryer and leave to cool for 5-10 minutes. Then turn out onto a wire rack to cool completely.
9. Once your brownies are completely cool, use a rubber spatula to spread the caramel and chocolate sauce.
10. Put your sugar-coated milk chocolate eggs into a paper or ziplock bag and bash gently with a rolling pin until they crack.
11. Finally, scatter over a handful of sugar-coated milk chocolate eggs.
12. Enjoy your brownies! Or, if you’re feeling disciplined, you can store your brownies in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
