"here is a handy, dandy tip"

star star star star star_border

As your people say, leave it for 12 hrs it really does work to give it the best set. I used to make my own from one table spoon of live yoghurt and one of pint milk. I would add some gelatine or if I wanted, say butterscotch, after brewing it I would add to each lunch pot, one teaspoon of instant whip and place in fridge and bang 2 hours later they be set solid. I hope this helps you all - it also works during the Winter as I have a draughty cold room and yet they still they set.I hope this helps - well done Easiyo.

Just been given one of these without instructions or sachets. But after a couple of YouTube vids off I went. I used whole milk and 2 tablespoons of yoghurt - (full fat) - I wasn't sure if it had live cultures in it so this was an experiment. As I started it at 6pm I had to leave it overnight, I checked it at around 7am this morning and yay I have yoghurt!! Just tasted it and although it is somewhat runnier than the original, the taste is smoother and creamier. My 4 year old loves it!! gonna try using cream next time - it was a doddle

So simple to use and turns out lovely yoghurt. This will be a huge saving for me and I can add whatever fruit I fancy. I have just put some in the freezer - Greek style with raspberries and blueberries - and if it works, a healthy alternative to ice cream. I cannot recommend this product enough.

This review is for an older version of this product

I find this Yoghurt maker excellent even though I cannot use the packets of yoghurt mix. If you mix some natural yoghurt with a measure of long life milk and about a table spoon of dried milk making sure that it is mixed thoroughly. then follow the instructions for the rest of the process leaving it overnight comes out thick cream consistency. My grandchildren like it made up with jelly. make jelly with about 1.2 hot water then instead of adding cold water add the yoghurt and refrigerate until firm. It is also good for salad dressing

"Very disappointed with this yogurt maker"

I am very disappointed with this product. I have now wasted 4 packets of the yogurt powder so a very expensive mistake. In spite of following the instructions to the letter, every time I try it out I get a runny mess. I have tried room temperature water, tepid water, 8 hours and 12 hours but still no yogurt. Unless someone can tell me what to try next, it is going to be consigned to the back of the cupboard along with all the other useless gadgets.

support_agent A note from the team

Thanks for placing your review. We're sorry that the Easiyo isn't working for you and will be in touch shortly.Handy Tips: the canister needs to be in a draught-free place for about 8 hours or overnight (or up to 24 hours). Do not stir or refrigerate until set. In winter, when room temperature and water temperature may be lower, you do need to allow longer to set.
