Perfect for making birthday cakes, fruit cakes or tiered celebration cakes in combination with other sizes in the range, whatever you bake in this premium quality tin will be evenly cooked, with no burnt bits, and release quickly and easily for cooling.
Quality
Made from 1mm thick heavy-duty carbon steel – thicker than most you can buy – it has two layers of Quantum 2 professional non-stick, and is oven safe up to 240°C. And because there are no rolled edges where water can get trapped and cause rust damage, it can go straight in the dishwasher for easy clean-up.
Performance
Offering excellent heat distribution, all your bakes will be evenly cooked through, and with useful fill lines on the inside, you’ll know exactly when to stop pouring your mixture in for a perfect tin-filling rise. Generously sized handles with sure-grip silicone inserts make getting the tin in and out of the oven easy and, for space-saving storage, it’s designed to stack neatly with the other round cake tins in the range.
No rolled edges
The rolled edges found on most bakeware introduce a difficult-to-dry space underneath the rim, and the edges themselves can be difficult to coat. We decided to leave the edges of our bakeware unrolled, removing the risk of water traps and uncoated carbon steel edges that might rust – making them completely dishwasher safe.

The size on the bottom saves me measuring which is good now I have a collection of them. They sit inside each other which is great when limited space. As for baking they seem good, lighter than my previous tins which is always useful and having a lip on to grab hold of it a great help.
Really disappointed, went to the store in Guildford noted they no longer stock the master class brand , so came away with this Lakeland brand tin-seemed sturdy but when I came to bake- the base of the tin is not 20cm- it’s actually under 19cms, which meant, the Lakeland 20cm cake liners don’t fit. So not fit for purpose and I will be returning to store, come on Lakeland this is your basic stock - it should be correct - I’ll be buying my replacement elsewhere I’m afraid.
The cake tin is slightly tapered so they can stack inside one another for easy storage. We're sorry this proved unsuitable.
Seems nice and sturdy. I didn't realise it was loose bottomed - but will keep it anyway as that was my oversight.
I bought these tins because of the excellent quality which I cannot dispute. Used them this morning to make the sponge for a birthday cake and had to cut my 20cm Lakeland parchment circles to fit in the bottom! I will unfortunately be returning these tins as it makes decorating more difficult when you have a tapered cake! I wish I had read the reviews before purchasing. Would rather have straight sides than be able to stack the tins easily!

Great cake tin the loose base makes getting the cake out easy, Quality of the tin is best I have ever used I am slowly replacing all of my bake ware to Lakeland the standard is top notch
