We'd be happy to look after your Lakeland purchases if you wish to visit the city - the beautiful Cathedral and Bailgate area are my recommendations. There are local farmers markets every first Friday of the month in the High Street and the third Saturday of the month at Bailgate, selling locally grown produce - if you're here then you should go along.
