
Pulled Beef Tacos with Pickled Cabbage

The perfect combination of flavours, spiced-up, succulent slow-cooked beef meets the tang of pickled cabbage, the creaminess of feta cheese and the freshness of coriander and lime.
Made with the Lakeland 6L Slow Cooker.
Ingredients
- For the pulled beef
- 900g (2lb) flank or sirloin steak
- 2 tsp garlic powder
- 2 tsp smoked paprika
- 2 tsp onion powder
- 2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 2 tsp cumin
- 2 tsp chilli powder
- 1 tsp chilli flakes
- 330ml bottle of light beer or beef stock
- 1 juice of lime
- To serve
- 1 pack tortillas
- 1 jar pickled cabbage
- A portion feta cheese
- A portion fresh coriander
- A portion fresh limes cut into wedges
Method

Mix together all of the spices and rub over the meat. Put into a slow cooker and pour over the beer/stock and lime juice. Cook for 5-6 hours on Low or 4 hours on High.

To serve, add some of the slow-cooked steak to the tortillas, top with a spoonful of pickled cabbage, crumbled feta, a sprinkling of fresh coriander and lime wedges.
