Maple Syrup-Drizzled Waffles

Made in the Lakeland No Mess Electric Waffle Maker
Ingredients
- 250g plain flour
- 25g caster sugar
- 1½ tsp baking powder
- ½ tsp salt
- 2 eggs
- 475ml milk
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- to serve
- pure Vermont maple syrup
Method

Preheat your waffle maker. Combine the dry ingredients in a large bowl. In a jug, break the eggs into the milk and beat together. Pour into the bowl, add the oil and whisk to a smooth batter.

Once the waffle maker’s green light illuminates, pour a small ladle of batter into the centre of each waffle plate, taking care not to overfill. Close the lid and lock the handle.

When the waffles are cooked to your liking, carefully open the lid and remove. Repeat with the remaining batter. Serve warm, drizzled with maple syrup.
