- Difficulty level : Easy
- Type : Breakfast
Enjoy this flipping good outdoor brunch!
Ingredients
- 200g self-raising flour
- 25g sugar
- 2 tsp golden syrup
- 1 egg
- 250ml milk
Method
-
Measure the flour, sugar and golden syrup into the batter dispenser or a lidded jar then add the egg and milk. Shake vigorously for a few minutes until you have a smooth batter. Alternatively, place the flour, sugar and syrup in a large jug, add the egg and then gradually add the milk, whisking constantly to create a smooth batter.
-
Place a non-stick frying pan or flat griddle on your barbecue and heat until a drop of water shoots across the surface.
-
Place small amounts of batter mix onto the griddle in 4cm circles, leaving a 1cm gap between each. Turn the pancakes over when the surface is completely covered with bubbles and cook the other side for about a minute.
-
Serve with honey, fresh berries and natural yoghurt.
