Air Fryer Smoked Salmon Blini Canapés

Made using the Lakeland Adjustable Large Drawer Air Fryer 9L.


  • 100g plain flour 
  • egg separated
  • 150ml milk 
  • 25g butter melted
  • A bunch chives snipped
  • A drizzle sunflower oil 
  • 200g smoked salmon 
  • 30g sour cream 


  1. For the blini mix, tip the flour into a bowl, then season. Make a well in the middle and add the egg yolk and half of the milk.
  2. Whisk until smooth then gradually add the rest of the milk, then the butter and chives.
  3. Whisk the egg whites until they start to stiffen, then fold into the batter.
  4. To cook, lightly grease bottom of air fryer and pipe or place small spoonfuls of the batter in and cook for 2-3 mins on each side until golden.
  5. Assemble your blini by placing some smoked salmon and sour cream on top then finish with some chives.
