Deliveries by Hermes

We're encouraging all of our customers to choose their preferred safe place for deliveries. Your Tracking link can be found in your order despatch email confirmation, choose 'divert' and select a safe place. This can also be done in the MyPlaces settings on the Hermes app anytime. You can get the app by searching "Hermes Parcels" in your app store.

If a safe place hasn't been chosen but there is somewhere safe to deliver the parcel, we'll leave it there - even if there's someone in the property. We'll take a photo, which will be included in the delivery notification email.

If no safe place is available, we'll knock on the door and step back. When you answer we will ask for your name to ensure a safe delivery, but we won't ask you to sign using a handheld device. If there is no answer, we'll re-attempt delivery on a different day.

Click & Collect

When you place an eligible order, you will be offered the Click & Collect service at the checkout. Available from most Lakeland stores in the UK, we will suggest your nearest store(s), or you can select an alternative if you prefer, and deliver your order to your chosen store ready for you to collect. We will give you an estimated collection date and keep you informed of progress by email before letting you know when your order is available in store. We will keep your order in store for 4 days, if you're unable to collect it within this time frame please contact the store. When collecting your order, please remember to bring your order number, payment card used, and a form of ID.

As we are unable to split orders between Click & Collect and Home Delivery, only complete orders where all items are eligible for the service can be delivered to store for collection.

myHermes Parcelshop

For added convenience, we can deliver your order to your local MyHermes ParcelShop. To take advantage of this, simply select the 'ParcelShop' option on the 'your basket' page.

If you have chosen to provide us with a mobile telephone number and that number is listed in the 'mobile' field then you should receive an SMS text message from Hermes once your shopping has arrived at your chosen ParcelShop. Where a mobile telephone number has not been listed in the 'mobile' field, your order despatch email will include a link you can use to track your parcels progress.

When collecting your order from the ParcelShop – please remember to take along one of the following forms of ID:

  • Credit/debit card
  • Foreign ID card
  • Passport
  • Photo driving licence
  • Photo ID card
  • UK driving licence

ParcelShop will hold your parcel for ten days from the date it arrives at your chosen ParcelShop - if you do not collect your order within ten days, it will be returned to us. Upon receipt of your parcel we will either issue you with a refund or contact you to discuss whether you would like the parcel to be despatched again.

If you are in any doubt about your ParcelShops opening times etc, we highly recommend you contact them prior to making a special journey to collect your shopping.

Overnight delivery

Delivery time: We're unable to specify a time for overnight deliveries, delivery will take place anytime up to 9pm.

Not all areas can receive overnight delivery, we will show you the delivery services available in your area during checkout once you have entered your delivery address details.

Overseas delivery

We only currently accept online payment from cards issued by UK banks. Please contact us if you'd like to place an order but have a card issued by a non-UK bank.

Order tracking and history

If you've placed an order via our website as a registered customer, you can track its progress through our warehouse. Log in to your account and click on 'view order history'.


We want you to enjoy shopping at Lakeland with complete confidence, which is why, in addition to your statutory rights, every single product you buy from us comes with a 3 year guarantee. So, if you buy something from us and you're not 100% satisfied or it is faulty, you can return it for up to 3 years – just bring along your receipt or emailed order confirmation as proof of purchase. Plus all returns are free.

To do this, it would be really helpful if you could call one of our friendly Customer Services Advisors on 015394 88100 first, as there are occasions when it may not be necessary for you to be inconvenienced by sending a product back to us.
