6 Lakeland Clip-On LED Christmas Candles

Elegant looking LED candles that are both safe to put on a Christmas tree, but which would be just at home on a mantlepiece garland or a table centrepiece. The remote control has lots of useful settings: on/off or timer,(6hrs on/18hrs off), adjustable brightness, static, slow flicker or fast flicker. Traditional looking gold star clip. Each candle needs a AAA battery inserting, but with the various functions, they should last for over the holiday period. I'm looking forward to using them.

Very nice to look at. The base of the candles have a label with some writing on but this can easily be peeled off so it doesn’t show. The candle holders could be a bit longer as the candles are quite tall, but I don’t think that they would fall off a Christmas tree. The remote control is easy to operate and the colour and flicker of the flame are very realistic. I am looking forward to using them on my Christmas tree.

The candles are nice to look at, I found that when you put them in the clip on part, they weren't held very well and could drop back out. Also at the base of the candle there is writing which is difficult to hide, you would have to try to hide this in the Christmas tree's foliage.

These candles are a great idea: attractive, safe and have several different lighting modes including a 6-hour timer function. Each candle requires 1xAAA battery, not supplied, and can be operated using a handy remote. However, the clips into which they are mounted and are used to attach them to a tree or other decorative item, are too shallow making the candle unstable. I have tested them by mounting them onto a small but sturdy internal tree. Whilst they look attractive any movement results in them falling out of the holder. I will be using these for decoration, but not in their holder!
