La Cafetière Reusable Nespresso Pods – Pack of 3

I bought these to use with my Hotel Chocolat podster machine and previously stocked by Lakeland. The pod was easy to fill and close the lid but when inserted in the machine the handle wouldn’t fully close like when using a branded nespresso pod. I contacted Lakeland as they had stocked this type of machine, they looked into the problem and got back to me in a few days to say these pods only work in Nespresso machines. I was refunded for the purchase. Nice idea of reusable pods if you own a Nespresso rather than another brand of machine that is compatible with Nespresso pod

Purchased this week. Very difficult to use/open. I realise top needs to seal securely but tiny tab will not last long. Again I know there is not much space for a bigger tab in the machine. Only for emergency use. Not a substitute for the usual filled pods. Probably should have bought the metal screw top ones!

Don’t know if it is me but it does not work as good as brought pods. I don’t think it squeezed enough coffee from the pod and there was certainly not a cremer like I get from normal pods. Don’t know if this is because of coffee I brought or overfilling of underfilling the pod. I brought a ground coffee from the shop so no idea what size grind this would be. But not for me. Also felt it was slightly too big a pod as it seemed to stick more than a normal pod. Any tips otherwise a big waste of money. Really. Wanted to work as can pick my coffee choice and reduce waste.
