Using traditional gingerbread made by the Pertzborn family in Germany, to a recipe passed down through generations, each gingerbread house part is pre-baked, ready to be ‘cemented’ together with white icing.
The hard work has been done for you, so you can get on with the fun stuff – decorating with chewy sweeties, chocolates and hundreds and thousands!
Piping bag, fairy tale folk and foundation tray… absolutely everything is included, from the foundations up.

After a gingerbread house disaster, and a lot of tears, I ordered this for click and collect the next day, dropped my granddaughter at school, brought it home, and it was constructed with ease and finished before she returned from school 100% recommended
This was a Christmas gift for my daughter. Knowing the quality of Lakeland products we were really excited to open the large triangle only to be disappointed. It was much smaller than expected, the icing sugar was an unusable, solid block and two of the pieces were broken. I am not sure whether the damage was from the couriers handling or not. Definitely not up to your usual high standard.

The children were excited to try this gingerbread house so we went for it rather than baking our own. Sadly it arrived with two out of the five gingerbread pieces broken which meant two disappointed children. We managed to ‘patch’ it up using the icing but then the children couldn’t achieve the decoration they wanted to. But worst of all the gingerbread does not taste nice - a very washed out flavour without the lovely gingery tones we were expecting. We won’t be getting this again.

I was very pleased. My granddaughters loved helping to make it.
The children I bought this for throughly enjoyed putting it together, 6-8 year olds. They did need a helping hand, but we’re pleased with the end result. They also reported back saying how tasty it was too.
