And while there’s a lot to be said for that authentic chargrilled taste you get from cooking over charcoal briquettes or Cobble Stones, if you prefer to cook with gas then this is the barbecue for you. Just like its solid fuel-fired double, Cobb’s Premier Gas+ barbecue’s outstanding system lets you cook whatever you want, wherever you want – and far more quickly than a conventional barbecue.
What you get
From stay-cool base to flavour-retaining dome, every part of the Cobb Premier Gas+ does its bit to ensure the best possible flame-grilled feast:
- Dome lid – locks in flavour and allows cooking even on windy days.
- The grill – for sizzling sausages, steaks, veggies and more – any excess fat just drips into the trap below.
- The base – with built-in Piezo ignition and Thermocouple systems, it stays cool to the touch so you can cook on almost any surface.

Weighing just 3.9kg, it’s so lightweight it’s easy to carry to wherever you want to start cooking. And the base stays cool to the touch so you can stand it anywhere you like, from grass to picnic table to beach, making it the perfect companion for all forms of outdoor dining, from relaxing in the garden with your family to camping with friends.
Cooking on gas
Cooking on low pressure gas, it’s compatible with both large gas bottles and small canisters of butane or propane, and can be hooked up to caravan and motorhome gas points too. Whatever source you use, you’ll just need to buy the right regulator and connection, but thanks to its built-in Piezo ignition system, you won’t need to worry about having a lighter or matches – you just press the button to light it. And it’s built for safety, too, with a Thermocouple system that automatically shuts off the gas in case the flame fails.

Stainless steel bowl, dome and non-stick grill are all dishwasher safe.
