Designed to fit on the base of the salad box in your fridge, this porous, textured polyester mat allows air to circulate freely, providing the ideal storage conditions for your fruit and veg, keeping things cool so there’s less chance of ‘sweating’ which can cause premature rotting or mould. Extra perks of this convenient cushion are that it’s easy to cut to fit the size of your salad drawer, and it’s not just for use inside the fridge – it’s ideal for lining a fruit bowl too, where the cushioned construction will also help stop your five-a-day from getting bruised, so you're less likely to find sadly soft apples destined for the dustbin.
It won’t affect the taste or smell of your fresh food, so it can be used equally well with salad leaves, carrots or delicate berries.

Stops my veg getting bruised rumbling around in the bottom of my fridge. It also keeps it away from any water/condensation that collects in my fruit/ veg drawers keeping them fresher for longer.
Much better than the old type veg cushion. Use it in ‘fridge and fruit and veg baskets.
I bought two of these for my fridge salad drawers but only needed one as I could cut it in half, so a good buy! I noticed after a week my vegetables were still fresh and no condensation in the salad drawers. Very pleased I purchased them.
Love this - has helped hugely with preserving veg in my fridge. We grow a lot of our own so not as robust sometimes as the commercial varieties - and this cushions it well and it seems to last better.
Had to buy a replacement for a new fridge works perfectly keeps veggies fresh for ages.
