Machine washable so it’s easy to keep clean, this stylish roll-top sack features a potato illustration that was hand-sketched by our in-house designer, so it’s easy to locate your potatoes ready for roasting, mashing and baking.
Allows Air to Circulate
Made from breathable material with a liner that blocks out light, the bag allows air to circulate, keeping your spuds in a breathable environment. It has a flat base and gusseted sides so it can be used freestanding, making it perfect for sitting on a shelf or inside a cupboard, and the ‘trap door’ opening at the bottom allows you to take out the potatoes that were dug up or bought first, helping to minimise waste.

I don’t know of a cooler or darker place in my house than under the stairs but I’m afraid this product just doesn’t do what it is meant to do. Despite being put into the bag as soon as I get them (and making sure they’re dry) potatoes start to go soft after about 5 days and begin to sprout soon after. No doubt I’ll find another use for it - lose change maybe!

I have had one of these bags previously but the Velcro wore out. I bought a different type from somewhere else but wasn’t satisfied as the semi rigid sides broke so I decided to pick up a new one of these last week when I saw them in the store at Windermere. My fault in assuming it was the same size as it used to be but on opening it I discovered it wasn’t but much smaller. Not really what I wanted. If you’re happy with the old one you have please be aware that if you need a new one then it won’t hold as many potatoes as before.

The original product was in fact a completely different style and design. The size was different as was the way the product was used as there are now two access points for old and new potatoes. The sizes are on pack and on the website

I purchased this as I generally live alone so don’t always buy bulk potatoes. But I was hosting Christmas this year so I thought I would’ve had enough to last. Sadly most of Christmas cancelled due to nasty cold virus etc making people Ill. Went to get two potatoes from bag to bake in oven as it was all the two of us fancied and they were all roaring. Well the one at the bottom was so rotten that brown liquid has seeped through the bag…which I had placed in a dark cupboard. I had emptied them all out of their delivery packing and wiped them dry with a clean tea towel to make sure
