"very smooth and take note, they fit ball mason jars" star star star_border star_border star_border I saw a couple of reviews re putting them in kilner jars, I bought some as I have a lot of kilners. I got one into the jar easily enough but they must be uneven around the edges because no way could I get it out now that my sauerkraut is ready. I ended up with ground glass on my sauerkraut. So the pebble is spoilt, not the jar. They are also very difficult to grab hold of as they are so smooth. So I am going to stick with the lovely glass pebbles with a handle that I found for wide mouth ball mason jars, I had to buy jars too but oh well, my kilners are coming in handy for dry storage and jam MARIA - 22 March 2021 support_agent A note from the team Thank you for your review. We’re sorry to hear these weren’t suitable and we’ve sent you an email. The best way to take the pickle pebbles out of the jars is to tip the pebble so the sides are facing to the top and the bottom. Then lift pebble out with either fingers or a pair of tongs. The pebble may have to twist to get free from the top of the jar.
