At last, we’ve found a cake knife that can cut portions straight from the mould or baking tray you baked it in without doing damage and scratching your favourite bakeware.

Strongly made, the deep serrated blade is sturdy enough to cut flapjack into pieces and for portioning biscuit-based tray bakes, cheesecakes and crisp-crusted fruit pies, plus it’s also ideal for cutting a birthday cake into sections.

But, because it’s not made from metal, it can’t scratch expensive non-stick coatings in your cake tins, won’t cut through silicone cake moulds, and won’t leave unsightly marks on enamel baking trays or Pyrex-style glass dishes.
