Previously only achievable with precarious stacking and good carving skills, our easy release hemisphere tin means reliably rounded cakes are impressively simple to make.
Made from tough anodised aluminium which has great heat distribution properties, each one is oven safe up to 230°C.
About the Hemisphere Cake Pan Range

Definitely a difficult type of cake to create, make sure you’re filling the cake tins quite high, otherwise you’ll end up with a bit of a rugby ball! Impressed at how they worked though. Will be better with more practice!

Made a smashing chocolate ‘pretend’ Christmas pudding shaped cake. Easy release but if you buy one of these pans make sure you have a cooking ring to sit it in. I didn’t have one so had to make a foil wedge to keep the pan upright.

As always Lakeland have come up with a great product and it was fun to make a cake in the shape of a sohere

For what it is - a simple pressing, this is very expensive. The anodised finish is not a good idea and the cake sticks even when following the instructions. In the end I used a strip of plastic (plastic welding strip), pushing it down the side working around the tin to release the cake. This worked and should be supplied given the exorbitant cost.
