No problems with the handle : All you need is to keep lightly pressing it in. (It takes a bit of practise to remember to keep it pressed in .... but once you get the hang of it, it's as easy as a potato peeler to use) I've had one for over a year for making wholemeal pastas and it's been a dream using it.
Handle doesn’t stay ( no matter how gentle you are) No suction to keep it onto the work surface….disappointing

I’m sorry to hear of your disappointment – if you bought it within the past three years, it can be returned to any of our stores along with your receipt and our staff will be happy to arrange a full refund.
This would be fine if the sodding handle didn’t keep falling off. Tagliatelle looked ok at the end but not an easy process. Clamp would not fit on my worktop - worktop too deep. Product appears poorly made with too long screws that stick out at the sides. I expected better of Lakeland

Rolls pasta perfectly, cuts noodles perfectly, and is the cheapest on the market - what more can you ask for? The trick is to have very dry dough. If I'm being picky, these are the downsides - for which you may want to spend more money if they're important to you: Handle falls off easily - the reviews of more expensive machines show they all do this! My engineer husband says it is tricky to make it any better. Spaghetti cutter makes thin noodles, not round section, you'd need an extruder for this. Chromed finish - I'd prefer pure stainless steel - if the finish flakes it may rust.
I used this exclusively for making lasagne initially and then tried the tagliatelle. Very disappointed. The dough was the correct texture (not too soft) but it cleanly cut only some of the strands, leaving me to have to pull apart the others (which had been heavily scored rather than cut). I also wasn't happy about having to to keep picking up the handle (I see others have mentioned this too)! I will be returning it for a refund.
