Lakeland Mini Morsel Set

Product number: 70177

Moreish mini cakes, tasty canapés and other dainty delicacies are a doddle in our durable tin, which makes 24 one-bite treats and comes with a handy wooden pusher for easier pastry pressing.

Quality

Made from 1mm thick heavy-duty carbon steel, this premium quality tin has two layers of Quantum 2 professional non-stick so not a crumb will be left behind, is oven safe up to 240°C and, because there are no rolled edges where water can collect and cause rust damage, it can go in the dishwasher for effortless clean-up.

Performance

Offering superb heat distribution, it will retain its shape during cooking, and the large handles with sure-grip silicone inserts make it easy to get it in and out of the oven.

No rolled edges

The rolled edges found on most bakeware introduce a difficult-to-dry space underneath the rim, and the edges themselves can be difficult to coat. We decided to leave the edges of our bakeware unrolled, removing the risk of water traps and uncoated carbon steel edges that might rust – making them completely dishwasher safe.

Recipes

The Lakeland mini Morsel Set is ideal for our Little Raspberry Lime Tarts & Lemon Shortbread Easter Bites recipe.

About the Lakeland Ovenware Range

Whatever you’re cooking or baking, you’ll find the right tin for the task in our Lakeland Ovenware range. Made from heavy-duty carbon steel with a Quantum 2 professional non-stick coating, they give a firm foundation to help your recipes turn out brilliantly. They’re dishwasher safe, durable and reliable, but it’s the extra little details we’ve added that sets them apart from the rest.

It’s practical improvements, like handy fill lines, making same-shaped pieces stack and adding pouring noses to our roasters, that makes our range outshine most others. We’ve also given our tins’ exteriors a lovely pearlescent finish so they look really special too. Because why shouldn’t your ovenware look as good as your roasts and bakes do?

Ready like my new baking tin, can now make cakes and tart cases

"Mini Morsel Set"

I am very pleased with my mini morsel set. The nonstick tray is very good quality and I have had no problems up to now removing my different tarts. The mini bakewell tarts cooked evenly and they went down very well. The tray came out very clean after a visit to the dishwasher too. I'm really pleased with my morsel set, so much so that I have ordered another one, so I can prepare for larger social gatherings.

"Brilliant set for making mini tarts and canapés"

Mini morsels can often be fiddley to handle so the tamper is great for helping get the perfect shape cases for you tarts and canapés. You can’t simply press a ball of pastry into shape but after rolling and cutting out the tamper helps push the pastry in the tin to make the perfect shape. Maybe with a little practice I’ll one day be able to do it from a ball but for now I’ll stick to cutting out the circles first.

I love florentines but thought they would be too fiddly to make. I tried out Nadiya's recipe and it was great. I have used the mini morsel set to make petit fours of florentines with some grated chocolate on to melt while they were still warm and they were a great success. They came out of the tray easily with no sticking and the tray was easy to clean. I now have a number of recipes lined up to make when we can have visitors (again!) or for gifts. The little banoffee pie recipe from a previous reviewer look like a good bake for my granddaughters.
