Lakeland Large Roasting Tin with Pouring Lip

Product number: 70165

Large enough to cook a roast for the whole family – together with all the accompanying vegetables – this fantastic quality roasting tin offers even cooking, exceptional food release and can go in the dishwasher for easy cleaning. What’s not to love?

Quality

Made from 1mm thick heavy-duty carbon steel, it’s thicker than most others you can buy. The double layer of Quantum 2 professional non-stick makes food release easy, and clean-up’s a doddle too. There are no rolled, uncoated edges, so there’s no danger of water traps and rusting, making it completely dishwasher safe.

Performance

With a contoured base that ensures air can circulate around your food for crisp, even cooking, and a handy corner ‘nose’ for pouring away excess fat or collecting juices for gravy, this professional gauge roaster is oven-safe up to 240°C. To make lifting easy, it has generously sized handles with sure-grip silicone inserts, and multiple roasters of the same size can be stacked for space-saving storage.

Please note: not suitable for use on the hob.

Smaller size available.

No rolled edges

The rolled edges found on most bakeware introduce a difficult-to-dry space underneath the rim, and the edges themselves can be difficult to coat. We decided to leave the edges of our bakeware unrolled, removing the risk of water traps and uncoated carbon steel edges that might rust – making them completely dishwasher safe.

Ovenware that looks as good as it cooks

Whatever you’re cooking or baking, you’ll find the right tin for the task in our Lakeland Ovenware range. Made from heavy-duty carbon steel with a Quantum 2 professional non-stick coating, they give a firm foundation to help your recipes turn out brilliantly. They’re dishwasher safe, durable and reliable, but it’s the extra little details we’ve added that sets them apart from the rest.

It’s practical improvements, like handy fill lines, making same-shaped pieces stack and adding pouring noses to our roasters, that makes our range outshine most others. We’ve also given our tins' exteriors a lovely pearlescent finish so they look really special too. Because why shouldn’t your ovenware look as good as your roasts and bakes do?

The Lakeland Large Roasting Tin can be used with our Roast Chicken with Onions, Garlic, Lemon & Thyme recipe.

"base peels"

star star_border star_border star_border star_border

I bought this product and after only a few uses the bottom of the tin started to peel. I did contact Lakeland and they replaced it and the same thing happened again. I should have contacted lakeland again. I haven't used tin since, but i did like the pouring lip. Just a pity about the flaw. It has put me off buying any more from this range, which is unfortunate as they look the part.

Thank you for your review. We’re sorry to hear of your experience with the roasting tin. We'd advise to hand wash only to prolong the life of the tin. We’ve been in touch to help further.

"Not up to Standard"

star star_border star_border star_border star_border

As soon as the item went into the oven the non stick coating deteriorated. The joint of meat stuck to the surface of the tin. This happened again on the second time it was used. Please note the care instructions were followed to the letter. Sadly a very poor item which is not fit for purpose quite unlike other Lakeland products and very disappointing as the general shape is so good. I cannot find the receipt but hope Lakeland will respond. There are many other customers who have left similar reviews.

We’re very sorry to hear it's faulty if you bought it from one of our stores, then you can simply return it and they will be happy to sort a replacement for you. Please don’t forget to take your proof of purchase.

"Waste of money"

This is the second roasting tin I have had and, just like the first one, the non stick coating is starting to peel off after only a few uses. Very disappointed, as it’s a good design, but sadly nowhere near the quality one would expect from Lakeland. I no longer have the receipt to complain. It puts me off buying other products.

We’re sorry to learn of your disappointment. To prolong the non-stick coating we'd advise to follow the care and usage instructions on the packaging.

"Lovely item until coating peels"

star star star star_border star_border

Such a great tin but the coating has come away after a year of use. Never been in dishwasher or washed with anything other than a sponge but coating has bubbled away from tin after a year of use. We purchased for Christmas a year ago and have used for a few roasts since but definitely not used over ten times or so! It’s a great tin and helps cook very moist tasty meats - just a shame it’s not lasted!

Thank you for your review. We're sorry to hear the coating is coming away from the tin and for any inconvenience this has caused. We've been in touch to help further.

"Cooks Friend"

BEST friend really. Well made and easy to use with the extra help of the added lip for pouring. Easy to clean could not be better for its intended use!
