The easy-to-use controller lets you choose between 9 different temperature settings so you can always find the right level of toastiness, and there are 9 timer options so you don’t have to worry about how long you’ve kept it on for if you end up having a quick forty winks underneath it. For extra peace of mind it has built-in overheat protection too so you can wrap up warm without worry. It can also be popped in the washing machine for a proper clean if it’s starting to look a little too well-loved – just remember to unplug and remove the control first.

I returned the first item as it was impossible to detach the blanket from the flex, as described in the instruction book. The connection on the replacement item was a little easier but still very difficult. I haven’t needed to detach for washing yet, but fear I shall struggle and maybe damage the connection by forcing/levering it out. Other than that I think I will enjoy using the blanket.
Just the job for keeping warm on the sofa in front of the TV- no more complaints from the children!
