Anyone who starts to suffer from symptoms of Seasonal Affective Disorder* when the nights start to draw in should take a closer look at Beurer’s Perfect Day Therapy Light. It simulates different levels of sunlight throughout the day, with three settings – sunrise, peak daylight and sunset – to help energise you, help you focus, and then relax as the day wears on.
Simulates normal daylight levels
Easy to operate with simple touch buttons along the bottom, the lamp emits three colour temperature settings of light that represent sunrise, peak daylight and the sunset, with each tone having a different effect on wellbeing, in the form of energy, focus and relaxation:
1. Active (sunrise) – emits 5,000 lux at a distance of 15cm and is best used in the morning to fuel focused work and energise you, so you’re ready to face the day.
2. Therapy (peak daylight) – emits 10,000 lux at a distance of 20cm and is best used during the middle of the day to help focus and concentration.
3. Relax (sunset) – emits 3,000 lux at a distance of 15cm and is best used in the evening to, well, relax.
Smooth, flicker-free light
Thanks to LED technology it gives off an even, flicker-free and UV-free light, and the fold-out stand at the back makes it easy to position where suits you best.

My husband seems to be out of sorts this time of year so I decided to get try the Beurer SAD light to see if it would help. This product is compact and will easily fit on the side table or desk. The price was great and I’m looking forward to a happier winter husband!
This was a Christmas present for my husband, who gets so mopey when the weather is dull and grey. It's brilliant, we use it to brighten up our living room on these horrible January gloomy days. He loves just having it on near him, it makes everywhere seem sunnier! I had been thinking about getting one for ages - so glad I finally did...
