Lakeland Touchscreen Bread Maker

Product number: 63483

There’s nothing more delicious than the smell of freshly baked bread… except for maybe the taste! With a double-paddled loaf pan and multiple loaf sizes to choose from, our easy-to-use Touchscreen Bread Maker does all the work so you can easily get your bake on whenever you fancy a fresh loaf. And because the touchscreen panel is on the front rather than the top, it's really easy to access and use.

What you get

  • Bread machine.
  • Removable bread pan with handle.
  • 2 kneading blades.
  • Measuring cup.
  • Measuring spoon.
  • Hook to remove the kneading blades.
  • Instruction manual with recipes, hints and tips.

Easy-to-use touchscreen

Smart and sleek in silver and black, this attractive bread maker machine has a slightly unusual design, which makes it stand out from the crowd as far as we’re concerned. It features a large LED touchscreen display on the front that’s easy to use, with a Start/Stop button, simple option buttons and 12 preset functions: Basic Bread, Quick Bread, Sweet Bread, Whole Wheat Bread, Gluten Free Bread, Dough, Knead, Cake, Jam, Yoghurt, Bake and Custom. Whether you’re baking bread, cake, or making jam or yoghurt, the touchscreen display is clear to read and shows you which stage of the programme it’s currently on so you know at a glance how long is left.

Enjoy the perfect loaf

The 1.5kg capacity bread pan features two kneading blades, so you can choose your preferred loaf size from three options – 1kg, 1.25kg or 1.5kg – and you can pick from three different crust colours and adjust the time as needed too. And if you’re a real bread-making aficionado, the Custom programme lets you change the individual settings of the different bread preparation phases so you can customise your bread to exactly how you like.

Let’s bake

Simply measure out your ingredients with the included measuring cup and spoon, then add to the pan, pick your programme and press start. The lid has a handy viewing window on the top so you can easily check on the progress of your bread, and the machine will automatically keep your bread warm for 60 minutes when the programme has finished, so if you get delayed doing something else, you’ll still be able to enjoy that first just-out-the-machine warm slice. And if there’s a power cut during bread making, the bread maker will automatically keep going for up to 10 minutes, so you won’t have to reset it. Phew!

Delay Start feature

To make sure your bread is ready just when you want it, this bread maker features a Delay Start function – pop your ingredients in the pan the night before, set your programme and wake up to a freshly baked loaf for breakfast.

"Just Awful!"

star star_border star_border star_border star_border

I have bought many items from Lakeland over the years, online & from the much-missed Cardiff store, & have never had a single complaint to make. Until now! How I wish I'd read the reviews before ordering. I have used bread makers for a lot of years, & produced lovely bread, but this one........A complete disaster! I have followed the instructions carefully, including what to do before you bake your first loaf. But after three attempts I have not managed to produce an edible loaf. Even the birds wouldn't touch it! I almost threw it in the bin today. What should I do? This machine is useless.

"Poor quality"

star star_border star_border star_border star_border

I have used a bread maker successfully for many years . This machine does not produce a good loaf , I have wasted my time and money trying to get a good result. It is now boxed up ready to be returned. Locating cooking pan is difficult and the inside is tinny and does notbfeel robust enough for the force required to lock it into place

We’re sorry this proved unsuitable.

"Touch Screen Bread Maker - Buy another machine!"

star star_border star_border star_border star_border

Purchased Lakeland brand machine believing this to be a good product. Very limited success with this machine. Tried various recipes, pre mixed bread mixes, different styles of bread, attempted different settings on the machines but all have produced poor quality or inedible loaves. Limited details to assist in the instruction booklet provided also. Purchased the machine for convenience but resorted back to making by hand and baking in the oven. Also the touchscreen and dimensions led me to buy this product but wished I had purchased a bulkier better brand. Sorry Lakeland not a great product.

"Might be fine if the tin would go in"

star star_border star_border star_border star_border

Very disappointing. We have only managed to get the tin into the machine three times during the past few weeks so have only had 3 loaves use. This morning we actually gave up after 10 minutes trying to fit the tin in the machine. 3 loaves for 150 pounds works out at £50.00 a loaf ! We are not going to try any more. Don't waste your money on this. I have used breadmakers for 16 years and frankly this one, with its difficult tin, is not worth the money.

"Finally, I got it right"

star star star star star_border

I have been using a bread maker for at least 15 years so did not expect any problems with this model. My first loaf (1.25) was great, but not the next 2. I came to the conclusion that I must not be getting the bread pan into the mixer correctly, even though I followed the manufacturers direction. In the past I had always added the ingredients to the bread pan before putting it into the mixer. I found that you cannot do it with this bread maker, as it is difficult to get the bread pan in to the mixer correctly once you have added the ingredients. I have now baked 5/6 loaves without any problems
