It’s lovely spending warm summer days in the garden, maybe having a barbecue or picnic… but not so lovely when your food attracts uninvited guests like wasps and flies to the party. And nobody wants to spend half their time swatting them away (and maybe getting stung in the process) if they can avoid it. Green Protect’s Wasp and Flying Insect Trap has been designed to attract wasps and other insects and then trap them, leaving you to enjoy your garden gathering in peace. And best of all, this bug catcher uses a solution that bees aren’t interested in, so they’ll just ignore it and carry on busily buzzing round doing their good work.
How it works
It’s really simple – there’s just the trap, and 500ml of a non-toxic, liquid attractant to add to it. You just pour half of this into the trap, and then position it away from your alfresco festivities, and preferably somewhere shady where insects tend to gather. It should immediately start attracting and trapping wasps and flies, but check it after a couple of days and, if it’s looking a bit empty, try hanging it somewhere else.
After 3 weeks, carefully dispose of the liquid and trapped insects, then refill with the remaining 250ml of the solution.
Refillable and reusable
To help the trap keep up its good work all summer long, a 500ml refill of the liquid attractant is also available.
