Lakeland Clothes and Duvet Vacuum Storage Tote Bag – 225L Maxi

Compact, solid large ‘brick like’ storage taking up FAR LESS SPACE.

I bought this to shrink a large volume of duvets and bedding inside my ottoman storage bed to make more space. It worked fine with my Dyson Ball vac, although as this one is too big really for inside a storage bed, there was a lot of free space at the top and as such it took a fair time to compress it! It's been in the bed now for a couple of weeks so I opened the bed and left it open to see whether it had/would inflate and it didn't. I'm not sure how strong the outer bag will be for moving as it's quite heavy with 'mink' over-blankets etc but I'm happy with it & have ordered two smaller ones.

Do yourself a favour and get one of these. I just stored away two years worth of baby clothing in one of these. They’re gigantic and I was worried the hoover wouldn’t be able to compress it much especially as I had so many small items, but it worked!

I purchased 2 of these bags and whilst one remains in its package, I tried the other out twice. Unfortunately on both occasions the bag didn’t hold its seal past two days and it re-inflated. So whilst it is a nice idea, it does work.

I purchased this tote a few weeks ago in-store. Unfortunately despite several attempts, the inner vacuum bag does not stay sealed, but gradually releases air over a few days. Also the outer tote bag is made of very thin material, and I managed to put my finger through a seam as I was zipping it up.
