"Effective" star star star star star Arthritis in hands means I struggle to open wine bottles. My trusty butch lever corkscrew broke (after many years) so was looking for a replacement and ordered this. You need to allow it to drill in further than you expect and hold the bottle firmly but it works well.
"Flawed Design" star star star star_border star_border A very frustrating product. It works fine with modern corks but often when extracting older cork corks they tend to disintegrate with pieces jamming the mechanism and those bits are fiendishly difficult to remove from the mechanism. There is no apparent means of dismantling to remove those bits of cork which make it useless, sadly.
