If you love fried food, but not the calories, then you need the Lakeland Digital Crisp Air Fryer in your life. Frying with air instead of oil, our sleek air fryer lets you cook a variety of foods with less fat but without sacrificing flavour, which can only be a good thing.
You just can’t beat a tempting portion of crisp, golden home-made chips, but all the oil used in traditional chip fryers can be messy to cook with, and off-putting if you’re trying to eat healthily. Cooking up to 500g of chips with little or no oil (you can coat your chips with oil before adding them), the air fryer circulates hot air from all directions to cook your food evenly, so you can enjoy much lighter, perfectly ‘fried’ chips and meat, fish, poultry and seafood – and, unlike traditional fryers, it won’t leave your kitchen smelling like a chippy.
It’s easy to whip up a batch of home-made crispy-on-the-outside, fluffy-on-the-inside golden chips, but this versatile fryer can do so much more. You can enjoy sweet potato wedges, skinny fries and onion rings; fish fillets, prawns, chicken pieces, steaks and burgers; pizza and frozen foods like French fries and scampi, and you can even bake sweet treats like cupcakes too.
Featuring a digital LED touchscreen display on the top, our air fryer is really simple to use, with 8 cooking presets and heat settings that can be changed from 80°C to 200°C to suit a huge variety of foods. The crisper basket sits above the base so there’s plenty of room for the hot air to circulate all around your food, and is lightweight so it’s easy to handle when putting food on to cook or removing the basket to serve. There are adjustable time and temperature settings to suit your preference – the timer lets you keep an eye on progress and will beep when your food is ready. And, in case you miss the beep, the Auto-off function will safely turn off the machine to stop your food overcooking and drying out. The instruction manual includes a cooking guide for ‘frying’ different foods so you can ensure perfect results every time.
It’s really easy to clean, as there’s no messy oil to change, unlike traditional deep fat fryers, and any excess – not that you use much – drains into the crisper drawer under the frying basket. So when you’ve finished cooking, simply take out the removable crisper drawer, press the button to remove the non-stick basket and hand wash both parts in hot soapy water.

The instructions are clear and easy to follow. Ii have only used it a few times but so far so good. Seems to need a little less time than on the automatic settings for chips and meat products
We purchased this air fryer as it seemed a good product , the delivery was excellent next day , and the product was at a good price. We have used the fryer a few times and we have been pleased with the results it’s very easy to use and clean . In our opinion an excellent product.
I’ve used my air fryer almost every day since I got it. Very easy to use and clean with food cooked perfectly and lovely and crisp.
The only items mentioned in the cooking guide really are chips, items like chops that you must turn over and chicken. The pre-set for pizza shows a pizza slice, but doesn't say if it has to be on a tray (no accessories include) Do you have to make a small pizza?? Not good. I took found the instructions to set manually confusing. I bought the Air Fryer cookbook sold in Lakeland, but it is not suitable for this one, so gave it away. Says don't cook very high fat foods, but a review says sausages cook really well. Can I cook bacon in it or a frozen pizza slice?
Pizza can be cooked in the air fryer without a tray, just put it straight in the air fryer and cook for the pre-set function time/temp. Anything with high fat content such as sausages, we recommend cooking on a lower heat, around 170 degrees. Bacon can be cooked in the air fryer, we'd recommend 180 degrees for around 12 minutes (depending on how crispy you like your bacon).
The Air Fryer is fantastic. I have cooked pork, lamb and chicken portions all have been superb. Chips and roast potatoes work well. I purchased 4 inch cake tins (Lakeland) and baked a victoria sandwich. It is so versatile and easy to clean.
