This waffle maker is a total hit in our house. It's really easy to use and produces perfect waffles every time. Just give the waffle irons a little spray with oil before use and the waffles are easily removed. Light, fluffy and yummy. The kids are delighted. Highly recommended x
This Lakeland waffle machine makes perfect waffles. The overflow channel is a godsend when you've added a little too much mixture. I use my own recipe so cannot comment on the booklet recipes or pouches of waffle mix available. I'd highly recommend this machine and more than pleased that I replaced my old machine, which made thin/flat heart shaped waffles. If you're in two minds wether to buy this, as I was, you won't regret it.
In December 2022 I bought the 'mini' waffle maker - great for one waffle every seven minutes. In January 2023 my husband bought this one, the same duration to cook except for four lovely waffles at the end of the wait. Highly recommend! PS: Buy the waffle mix from Lakeland, it is absolutely delicious!
Excellent having great breakfast waffles
I tried the recipes in the book and nearly sent this item back. However, decided to use different quantities. Sift 120g plain flour, 1 tsp baking power, 2 tbsp sugar in a bowl. In a jug 1 egg, 170ml milk and 20g melted butter. whisk liquid and stir/whisk into dry. Pour back into the jug and then into the waffle maker. Perfect each time.
