This little gem is a great addition in the kitchen. I use it in all kinds of things. 100 g doesn't last long so could we have the option of buying bigger jars in the future?

I bought this more out of interest as I had never seen the need for this in a recipe and wasn't really sure where I would use this ingredient, never the less it just had to be bought to bring my post cost for a delivery down to free of delivery. I have added it to pasta, stocks and soups and it has been a little star to adding that just something extra, a secret ingredient that no one can quite put a name to the flavour but agreed by all that it is definitely a winner in our kitchen.. Used this for the first time and made the Yotam Ottolenghi Recipe- Brussel sprouts with black garlic, it was delicious. Will use this more and more, great flavour!
Being a lover of garlic, "black garlic" was a new and different taste for me. It has quite an earthy taste (reminds me a bit of mushrooms, which I also love). Anyway, this black garlic paste is great : it adds a lovely umami taste to stews, pasta, and even a bit of toast.
