With hints of caramel and chocolate, Lavazza’s Passionale Eco Caps Coffee Capsules offer an intensely full-flavoured espresso thanks to their blend of 100% Arabica beans sourced from Brazil, Asia and Central and South America. And just like the rest of Lavazza's eco caps, when you've finished enjoying your espresso, you can pop the used capsule in a food waste recycling bin so it can be sent for composting.

I felt guilty every time I used the old capsules so I love that I can put these straight in the compost Previous reviewer was a bit harsh with rating as it’s the same delicious coffee and having to just push it slightly with your finger so it drops down is worth the price, I’m guessing lavazza will continue to work on it till they get it right - even with this it gets 5 stars from me for the eco factor
Excellent coffee and I would recommend. One of my favourites, always delights.

No complaints about the coffee at all and would give it 5 stars, however the new eco capsules stick in my machine. They never drop down into the waste container when the handle is released and if I forget to push them down manually using my fingers immediately after use, then I have to use a knife to prise them off before they will drop down.
Thanks for your review. We're sorry that you're having this problem. We can advise that the capsules do need ejecting immediately after use, otherwise the old pod gets stuck to the plate after cooling.
