Neat and compact, our 2-bowl Grind and Chop is a whizz in the kitchen... It's brilliant for grinding up your coffee beans for a fresh, flavoursome brew and it can take on a host of food prep tasks too. Made to last from robust stainless steel, this grinder will sit pretty on your kitchen worktop and see you through the daily grind for years to come.

Not just for coffee
The two stainless steel jars included each contain a different blade – the straight blade is perfect for grinding coffee beans and other dry foods like nuts, while the cross-blade will chop and grind up wet foods like garlic and ginger. And If you’re not ready to use the contents straight away, you can put the clear lid on and pop the jar into the fridge to keep things fresh.
Easy to use
Choose the blade for the task ahead, put your ingredients into the container, replace the lid and press down to start grinding… that’s it – there are no fiddly buttons to press or settings to choose from. Once you’re done, lift your hand off the grinder and it will automatically stop. For an extra-fine grind, simply hold down the lid for longer; the transparent lid allows you to keep an eye on your progress to ensure you get the perfect grind for the task in hand.
Safety function
If the lid isn’t properly on and clicked into place, the device won’t work – so there won’t be any messy accidents!

"3rd time of using and it is broken"

Bought for me as a Xmas gift in 2022. Not used often but decided to make breadcrumbs only to find the rubber blades have sheared off as in other reviews. Rendering it absolutely useless. So no I would not recommend. It is not up to the job and has a definite design fault.

I have had 2 of these now and have run into the same issue. The actual chopping and grinding is fine, no complaints there. It is a value for money item and does what it says on the tin. Fitting the grinder/chopper attachment into the main unit is a real task though. Though I line up all the grooves, getting it to fit in before rotating to click it into place can take me up to 10 minutes sometimes, not exaggerating. It is quite frustrating.

So disappointed as I thought at last I’d found the ideal appliance for Indian chutneys & pastes. Like others had found, I ended up with half mush and half unprocessed onions and garlic. The biggest disappointment was when finding some of the rubber had sheared away into powdery crumbs where the base of the cup fits/connects into the main body. My husband looked at it and said it’s a design fault. I know Lakeland have an excellent returns policy so I’ll be taking it back. Such a shame as the quality of this grinder/chopper has let Lakeland down. I wish I had not given my old chopper away now

I spent ages researching which mini chopper/grinder to buy including quizzing the assistant in store because manual instructions didn't always tie with information on box or with online description. Reassured this machine would chop nuts, aged (ie very dry) Parmesan and be a whizz for curry pastes I bought one. Big mistake. My experience is virtually identical to that of a reviewer in Oct 2020 and despite trying different quantities/timings as suggested, the results are hopeless and messy. Finely ground nuts etc spill over the bowl, pastes don't blend evenly...a total waste of money.
