If you don’t have room to store a larger vacuum sealer, FoodSaver’s compact, convenient, rechargeable Handheld Vacuum Sealer is perfect for you, and it couldn’t be simpler to use. Just position the vacuum nozzle in the right place – over the grey circle on zipper bags or green spot on food containers – press the vacuum button on the top to start removing air, and release it to stop. What could be easier?
Keeps food fresher for longer
The FoodSaver range offers a range of reusable Zipper Bags and Food Containers that help you preserve all sort of foods from blocks of cheese to delicate pastries, sucking out all the air around the item so that it lasts for longer in your fridge, freezer or cupboard. And to get you started, 10 Zipper Bags and a 1.2 Litre Food Container are included. Please note: Zipper Bags are not suitable for freezer use.
Portable
It takes up very little space in your kitchen, whether charging on the countertop, or stored in a drawer – and if it’s fully charged, can even be taken away with you to help when repacking a picnic basket or for saving part-opened packets of tasty treats when you’re camping or caravanning.
Removable reservoir
If you’re sealing moist foods some vacuum sealers can fail as liquids are drawn through the valves, but FoodSaver have given this dinky little machine a removable reservoir that collects any droplets that may be drawn out of the bag or box that you’re sealing. The reservoir is dishwasher safe to ensure hygiene.
Rechargeable batteries and recharging base included. Charging takes 24 hours.

This is a brilliant product. Just bought a second one for my son. Takes up hardly any space and works perfectly. Cheese, deli meats, prepared vegetables. Keeps them all perfectly. Excellent for speedy marinating too.
I bought this a while ago and have since bought some of the FoodSaver storage boxes. My only comment is that I wish it was possible to buy smaller containers than 700ml & 1.2lt Easy to use, very versatile. I use for prepped veg, marinating & storing left-over stews etc in the containers (bought separately). The bags are great for freezing fresh meat & fish.
I get good use out of my Foodsaver. My only disappointment was that the bags do not last very long, even with taking good care when rinsing/drying. I prepped all my veg for soups/casseroles and general dinner veggies each Saturday for the week ahead using the bags and it was brilliant....until they started to loose their seal and everyday you would have to vaccum them again. The containers are good however.

Love this item so easy to use & size wise easy to store and ideal for picnics to use for left over food. Keeps its charge for a long time easy to get extra bags and containers, Pleased with this.
Absolutely love this. Use it everyday to store/access raspberries & grapes. Keeps them so fresh for over a week. Look as good as day purchased. Easy to use too. Had issue with one box not sealing, but replaced immediately. Now I can’t imagine life without this!
