Sebahat Turkish Delight Assortment 200g
Product number: 62106
Turkish delight on a moonlit night… or any other night for that matter. Nestled inside this box you’ll find an irresistible assortment of authentic and colourful Turkish Delight to tantalise your taste buds. Flavoured with apple, orange or pomegranate then dusted with icing sugar, this fragrantly delicious treat will melt in the mouth.
Traditionally known as 'lokum', you may be surprised to learn that it was in fact a 19th century British traveller who gave this sweet confection the more familiar name of 'Turkish delight'.
The Sebahat family have been making Turkish delight for many generations, and while it is now made in a state of the art kitchen, it is still made by the family to the traditional (and secret) family recipe.
Good news: you won’t find any gelatine in Sebahat’s authentic Turkish delight so it’s approved as vegan by the Vegetarian Society and carries their logo, which means even more people can enjoy this taste of Eastern promise.

These sweets were much tastier before. The quality is not the same.
I was disappointed with this Turkish delight, because there were 16 pieces and 9 of them were the apple flavour, 5 pomegranate and only 2 orange! So annoying. They should put an equal amount. I'm not keen on apple flavoured sweets and they tasted more like melon and almond, and I hate melon. The ones I liked the best were the orange ones, which was the main reason I bought them. I also expected the pomegranate ones to taste nicer. So all in all, I wasn't very happy with them.
This takes me back to Xmas with my Grandparents as a child! Loved the old fashioned taste of Turkish Delight.
Not often you can find vegan Turkish Delight - such a treat
I buy these every year for my husband, who loves them. He has dementia, but always remembers that I put these in his stocking and looks forward to them.
