In rainbow bright shades (and handy black), PME’s set of 8 Concentrated Food Paste Colours make it easy to top off your lovingly baked cookies and cakes with your desired shade of icing, buttercream, and carefully crafted sugarpaste flowers.

What’s in the pack?

Eight little pots of concentrated food colourings in the following shades:

• Old Gold/Ivory – add caramel-rich tones to cupcake icing.
• Sunny Yellow – create bright bee bakes and roarsome lions.
• Pea Green – perfect for our t-rexcellent prehistoric party dinosaur cakes.
• Ocean Blue – creating Under the Sea Cookies is easy with this true blue hue.
• Hot Pink – just a little makes for a bloomin’ lovely rose-topped floral cake.
• Berry Red – for everything from red velvet cakes to football-themed bakes.
• Regal Purple – make bakes fit for a queen!
• Midnight Black – dress up creepy Halloween cupcakes.

For fondant icing, buttercream and sugarpaste

Fabulous with fondant, brilliant with buttercream and superb with sugarpaste, they can also be added to cake mix to create brightly coloured sponges too, making them perfect for stacking up rainbow or ombre bakes.

Easy to use and long-lasting

Super-concentrated so a little goes a long way, these colours are really easy to use. Just unscrew the lid of the colour you want, peel back the seal, dip a cocktail stick into the colour and then add this to your icing. Knead well to mix the colour thoroughly through the icing to get an even shade – or just a little if you want a marbled look. And if none of the colours above is exactly what you’re after, you can add colours from more than one pot, and carry on kneading and adding until the shade’s just right.
