These were the best candles i could find on the high street that looked genuine when "lit" they flickered well and i was impressed. however it took a while to suss out why they kept going off. and like another reviewer it,s your tv remote that does it.!! when i turn the tv on all is ok, when i change channels the candles go off. the tv and candles are at different places in the house so how this happens i do not know. oh and last night when i aimed the remote at the candles direct they turned my hi fi on.!!

We recently bought a set of these candles and couldn’t work out why they kept going off without touching the remote, we eventually discovered the problem was the TV remote control, they must be on the same wavelength, mystery solved.

I was worried the candles may look too fake...but arranged on a plate with green foliage.. with .one press of the remote , my fears were dispersed and replaced with atmospheric comfort. Another well known retailer has similar, at three times as much.

I love these candles. When lit, they have a gentle warm orange flicker which looks very realistic. Now I can have everlasting candles without the smoke.
