Fleece-lined electric blanket

It’s miserable sitting around the house being not quite warm enough when you want to relax, but also not wanting to put the central heating on – particularly if the calendar says it’s supposed to be summer. With a strokably soft creamy fleece backing on the reverse, this electric blanket is easy to control and ready to go straight out of its storage bag. Just attach the lead to the socket in the blanket, plug it in, then flick the switch on the back of the handheld LED control to turn it on and choose a setting.

Digital LED control with 6 heat settings

The six heat settings include a ‘ready for bed’ fast preheat setting that warms up this throw in just five minutes, and five temperature settings from 1 (low) to 5 (high), which you can adjust if you’re getting a little too warm or cold. It also features Intelliheat technology, so it maintains a constant temperature while you’re using it, won’t overheat – there’s no getting hotter and hotter the longer it’s on – and is safe to use overnight on your bed too.

Costs as little as 5p per hour to run

So if you’re wondering about whether you should put the heating on for a couple of hours before you go to bed… maybe just turn this on instead while you’re watching TV or reading on the sofa, and then take it through to your bedroom and plug it in again so you can experience the same comfort all night long.

Auto shut-off after 1 or 9 hours

For safety, or to stop you from getting too warm if you do nod off, the throw has an auto shut-off feature which can be set to either 1 hour or 9 hours, giving you peace of mind if you’re using it on the sofa or overnight on your bed.

Machine washable heated throws

To keep it looking and feeling its best, the heated throw (minus the lead) can go in the washing machine for easy cleaning, and also the tumble dryer. It also comes in a reusable storage bag, should it ever get warm enough for long enough to put it away.
