"So very, very disappointed." star star_border star_border star_border star_border I suffer with arthritis and therefore find 'rubbing in' difficult, so I usually make pastry, scones, etc., in my food processor. However, I decided to use my Lakeland hand mixer earlier to blend the flour and butter for a half batch of scones. Disaster! Despite the description stating 'Able to whisk and blend ingredients gently to combine ingredients at the start of a mix without splashing', I ended up wearing the flour as soon as I turned the mixer on to the slowest setting and the work surface was covered! There is nothing 'gentle' about this mixer - the slowest speed is way too fast :o( Dr Williams - 18 March 2021 support_agent A note from the team Thank you for your review. We’re sorry to hear of your experience and we've sent you an email. The speeds are graduated but you may find using a deeper bowl helps to reduce spillage.
