We love slow cooking for its throw-everything-in-and-leave simplicity, and the mouth-wateringly succulent results speak for themselves… but we wanted a slow cooker that was a little bit more versatile and even easier to use. And as we couldn’t find one that we wanted, we designed this one instead: our 6.5 Litre Digital Slow Cooker, with its hob-safe, oven-safe cooking pot and 24-hour delay-start timer.
Even if we do say so ourselves, it’s a brilliant bit of kit, which is why we’re very excited to be adding it to our range of own-brand electricals.

- Family-feeding meals made easy
A fabulously easy way to cook, nothing beats the flavour slow cooking imparts, and there’s nothing more satisfying than dishing up a piping hot, super-tasty stew or casserole when everyone gets home. Especially when it’s been cooking under its own steam all day while you’re busy doing other things. And of course, slow cookers are ideal for batch-cooking pie fillings and freezer meals too.
Use the cooking pot on the hob…
Many slow-cooking recipes begin with instructions to brown certain ingredients like meat beforehand, which often means using a separate frying pan and adding to your washing-up woes. So we’ve given this slow cooker an aluminium cooking pot with an induction-friendly base that can be used on any hob – just like a ‘normal’ pan. Once your ingredients are browned, simply place it back inside the base unit and add the rest of your ingredients.
… and in the oven
We’ve also made sure that the inner cooking pot can also go into the oven with its glass lid once your recipe has finished cooking, just like any other casserole dish.
3 heat settings
Beneath the smart white exterior the 300W element completely surrounds the cooking pot to provide consistently even cooking for your ingredients. There are three settings to choose from – HIGH (for faster results), LOW (for slower, simmered results) and WARM (heats on high until cooked, then keeps warm until ready to serve) – with preset times that show in the LED screen. And if you want to alter the timing to suit your recipe and the family’s schedule, just press the + and - buttons.
24-hour timer with start delay
For those times when you want to prep ahead, the start delay function means you can programme this slow cooker to start at any time from 30 minutes to 24 hours in advance, so your meal can be served at just the right time of day. Once the delay time is finished, it will then countdown the cooking time, so you’ll always be able to tell when your meal is ready. This feature is not suitable for meat, but perfect for veggie meals, including vegetarian stews or curries!
Easy-read LED display
We hear a lot from slow-cooking fans who occasionally forget to switch theirs on in the morning rush, so we’ve made sure there’s no doubt at all that it’s switched on – lights show which heating option you’ve selected and the digital timer is really easy to read as it counts down – so there’ll be no disappointed faces around the kitchen table come supper time.
Easy to clean
The cooking pot and its lid are both dishwasher safe, although we recommend hand-washing the cooking pot to prolong the performance of the non-stick coating. The powder-coated outer is simple to wipe clean if any spills occur when you’re dishing up.
