"Soup maker" star star star star_border star_border This soup maker works well and produces good results. The problem I have with it is that I don't feel it can be cleaned properly. The container in which you make soup cannot be immersed in water as it has electrical components. It would be much easier with a removable ceramic bowl like my slow cooker. The chopping blade can also not be washed properly as it doesn't detach from the electric motor. support_agent A note from the team We're glad you found the soup maker produces good results. Due to the nature of the product it’s not possible to have a removable bowl. The bowl can usually be cleaned properly with just a washing up brush, but you can leave it to soak if necessary. You can't submerge the chopping blade, but you access all the parts you need to clean.
"Superb soupmaker" star star star star star As gadgets go this tops all I have had, it does what it says in the instructions, I couldn't believe it outdated cook and produce a soup in 19 mins. A must buy
"Lock-down lunches. Perfect soup every time" star star star star star I have been working from home since lock-down started & ordered this soup maker. I have been using it regularly to make a simple warming lunch. So simple to use, I have tried all sorts of soups - it works really well with cauli, broc, leeks, garlic etc for a hearty veggie soup ( I add some crumbled stilton at the end before blitzing), another favourite is red pepper, tomoto & garlic. I like my soups smooth & this delivers every time. I bought some of the Soup & Sauce bags and use these to store the soup in the fridge once made & cooled. This has replaced my Remoska as most used appliance
"Love this - perfect size" star star star star star_border I thought about a soup maker for a while but they were also too large and wasted. This is perfect. You can do a soup for 1 or 2 (that is the max really) that's all you need. I get bored quick so don't want a weeks supply of soup - just a quick one for lunch. Pop in the ingredients and 17 mins later you have a super smooth soup (very hot too). I usually make it with veg (Broccoli, cauli, carrot, potato, onion + stock etc) after its cooked I throw in some pieces of cooked chicken or ham if I want some extra protein. Fabulous for winter. Blends really smooth - haven't tried chunky.
"Great little machine" star star star star star Absolutely love this little soup maker and have made a variety of smooth soups with it, the best being tomatoes, peppers and roasted garlic. I haven’t tried the chunky yet, but I like my soups smooth. This is the second machine I’ve had though, first one was just too hot, but got a replacement with absolutely no hassle from Lakeland.
