This vent does an excellent job of clearing out the fluff which could build up causing a fire. Quick and easy to use, simple to clean the bristles.
Until I used this brush, I was unaware how much lint had got under the lint filter of my tumble dryer. Despite cleaning the filter every time dust must get through. It had formed dry, papery lumps. The bristles dislodge and catch the residue, which can then be pulled out. I used my vacuum cleaner nozzle for loose remains. The vacuum cleaner has a narrow attachment but it won't fit easily into the slot or go very far down so this brush is useful. A minor improvement would be to make the curved wire part firmer.
