Lakeland Beechwood/Steel Over Door Airer

This is strong holds quite a lot of items and also looks good on door. I have it near my Dehumidifier & clothes dry so much quicker hanging on this airer. It doesn’t stick out much when using it and I’m using this airer much more than my other floor standing aires . When not using it it’s flat against my door. Very happy with this item so glad I bought it.

Can’t believe I’m so excited about a silly laundry aid, however, i am!! This is so sleek and well made. I had to share. Using in the shower room for towels. More on the way as it’s really pretty. Can see so many uses. Perfect for campers too. Top marks Lakeland!!

It fits well I’ve hung it on my larder cupboard door I use it to hang all my cleaning cloths to dry after washing and I can still fold the shelves shut if I need to open the door. It looks smart and fits in with the colour scheme I have. I may purchase another for the bathroom however because of the weight restrictions I’m not sure if it can handle the weight of small towels. Either way it’s good for hanging small items or to hang a small amount of washings without taking the big airer out. At the reduced price it makes it better value for money as it was a little steep before now.

Thus over door airer is a great addition to my winter indoor drying. I like the design & quality of make. One criticism though is the dimension of the brackets. The section that hooks over the door is too big. Normal UK doors are 35mm thick, even fire doors are only 44mm; the bracket is 50mm! Too big!! Fortunately I have hooks for over kitchen cabinet doors & use these to hook the airer over a tall cabinet- works for me.
