Our extendable ceiling airer mounts to the ceiling to make use of an underused drying opportunity. It can be adjusted between 78 and 140cm to suit your environment - offering a generous 6.7m of space at maximum extension. This dryer is much lighter than the traditional wooden ceiling airer, so easy to haul up to the ceiling. Once at ceiling level, I know heat rises, but I was amazed how quickly sheets dried. About 4 hours in a house heated to eighteen degrees this winter.
The poles are rather flimsy once extended - I feel I have to be very careful pulling a pair of wet jeans between the poles, for example. The ropes are also thinner than on my old traditional ceiling airer. But fine for smaller items, or a couple of single bed sheets.
Thanks for your review. If you're unhappy with the new airer you can of course return it along with your proof of purchase.
Have to say I am a bit disappointed with this. Bought it to replace an old wooden one as it filled the space better. The poles are very flimsy especially when extended and items slide off very easily especially when trying to put items on. Don't think it would take heavier items. I will keep it as it is in situ now but not something I would buy again.
