There’s nothing more frustrating than an iron cord that gets in the way, or – even worse – one that isn’t long enough to reach to the end of the board. But we’ve solved the problem with our Cordless Steam Iron – by removing the cable, you can zip through your ironing without getting your t-shirts and trousers in a tangle.

No cord, no hassle

The days of fighting with the flex as you get into tricky corners of your garments are now over. Designed so you can iron with complete freedom of movement, this ultra-manoeuvrable iron has no cord to hold you back, so there’s no risk of that pesky flex creasing up the part of the shirt you’ve just ironed. Taking just 27s to recharge on its charging base, it’ll handle quick ironing emergencies through to your average weekly pile with ease.

Or, if you’ve got a huge load to get through and don’t want to run this risk of needing to recharge half-way through, it can be locked on its low-profile base and used while powered by the cord.

Freedom to steam anywhere

To make it even more versatile, this cordless iron has four steam settings:

• Dry – So you can use it as a dry iron without any steam for more delicate fabrics or to press garments flat – handy if you’re into dressmaking.
• Burst – Press the trigger on the underside of the handle for a concentrated shot of steam. There’s also a spray button on top for an extra dash of water to help shift those really stubborn wrinkles.
• Continuous – To make everyday ironing as easy as possible, continuous steam will help lift those crinkles out in no time. And you’re in complete control of the heat thanks to the adjustable temperature dial.
• Vertical – Without a cord to tie it down, you can use it all over the house to steam curtains or suits on hangers. And because it’s so lightweight, there’ll be no more dead arms to put up with as you get the creases out of your drapes.

Auto shut-off feature

It happens – you go to make a cup of tea mid-ironing pile and, before you know it, something else distracts you and it’s been 10 minutes since you wandered away from the iron… For peace of mind and safety, the iron will turn itself off after 8 minutes if left on its base. And for extra security, it will turn off after 30 seconds when left horizontally if something more urgent calls you away.

A clean iron at the push of a button

We know the laundry is already enough of a herculean task without having to think about cleaning your iron as well as everything else. So ours has self-cleaning and anti-calc functions to keep its insides clean and clear of limescale so it can keep on working at its best for you, leaving you with one less thing to worry about.

Super-smooth ceramic soleplate

The non-stick Teflon coating ensures the base glides over all fabrics without any risk of dragging, sticking or pulling.

Generous water tank

With a large 320ml water tank you can whizz through your ironing even quicker without having to stop and refill it every 5 minutes. And the hole for filling up the water tank is extra-wide to make it easy to top up.
