"What a shame" star star star_border star_border star_border A fabulous idea - just not well executed! The wall mode is perfect for the space we have. BUT 1stly - I wasn’t really aware the top section isn’t heated - that piece of information wasnt obvious when I ordered. But heat rises I’m sure it’ll be fine. However 2ndly - this is where I am really disappointed…. The cover doesn’t extend around the back, so it doesn’t ‘trap’ the heat that our old dry soon does. Also I don’t really want water vapour all over my walls - it’s why we use a drier and not radiators!! As several reviews have mentioned this, how about a purchasable back panel? support_agent A note from the team After extensive testing to find the most efficient way to dry your laundry, we discovered that the top shelf of our Tri:Mode Heated Hub doesn't need to be heated at all. This is great news for two reasons; 1) It saves precious energy without altering its ability to dry clothes quickly and 2) it means we were able to design it with a detachable top section for added versatility. The top shelves are the perfect spot for drying your most delicate items too. The back isn’t of the cover is open for ventilation when used in wall mode. It also means that if it’s moved into traditional mode the cover can be left in place and doesn’t have to be removed. We're sorry to hear it didn't meet your expectations but can see that you've already been in touch so we can sort this for you
"Cover" star star star star star_border Not happy that the cover does not cover the back in wall mode, it just means all the heat will escape !! If it can be fully covered and work properly in other modes with no moisture problems why not this way, It has vents on the sides for circulation and evaporation. I'll hav to see what it's like cost wise to run? If not it will be going back unfortunately. LOVE THE DESIGN AND BUILD BUT NOT THE DESIGN OF THE COVER !!! support_agent A note from the team We offer a 3-year guarantee on every product. It means if you buy anything from us and you're not 100% satisfied, or if you decide it's not for you after all, you have plenty of time to return it for a full refund or replacement. The cover is open at the back when in wall mode to allow ventilation
"SO disappointed" star star star_border star_border star_border PROS: Stable, timer, temperature control, wall mode provides easy access CONS: • Flex woefully short, a problem when changing modes; have to unplug unit & move to another socket. In ‘cube’ mode, can’t position unit to access both sides through cover. One side access difficult due to the thick frame. • The cover is a FAIL. In wall mode, it does NOT cover the back. Mine is in front of window so heat not retained, & who wants water vapour against their wall?! Instructions are USELESS - 2 rods supplied - no idea where they go. • dark I’d return if I hadn’t needed to dispose of big boxes. support_agent A note from the team Thank you for your review. We're sorry to hear of your disappointment with the Tri:Mode. We've looked into this and the two rods go in the very top at the front of the cover, in the discreet channels. In regards to the cover, this is open at the back when in wall mode to allow ventilation. We can see you've since purchased a standard heated airer and we trust this will be more suitable for you. We've fed back all your comments and been in touch to offer a free collection.
"Versatile" star star star star star_border This airer is heavier than my previous models, but that does make it more stable. I love the fact that it doesn't have to be a square as this works better in my room. I was disappointed to find that the top of the airer doesn't heat up, a fact I only discovered on reading the instructions and whilst heat does indeed rise, the items on the top dry slower. Wish I'd known this before buying it. The covers were a bit of a struggle to attach and need to cover the back when in wall mode. So far I'm quite pleased with it, but need to try it in standard mode, to judge top row drying. Remote is handy. support_agent A note from the team After extensive testing to find the most efficient way to dry your laundry, we discovered that the top shelf of our Tri:Mode Heated Hub doesn't need to be heated at all. "Great but a bit of a qc issues" star star star star star_border Firstly the outer box is awkward so be ready to either unbox outside or bring it into the house weirdly. Hopefully Lakeland will just release the base and other parts separately. I have a few dry soon products and when Lakeland released this one I needed to get. However a bit disappointed with the quality control of the item as its abit lacking. There is a few scrapes as well as paint chips/not pained correctly on the main frame. Apart from that having the ability to change the temp of the rails to different temps is great for different clothes that may get damaged at the default (high) temp.
