"Works for me!" star star star star star Takes a little patience to assemble but not too tricky. Prob. shouldn't put heavy items on top - I store a lightweight plastic basket on it - no issues so far. I appreciate the design that’s gone into it, esp. the bottom handles on each sack - so easy to empty. A considered purchase price - it in terms of design & function, it's clearly (to me) a good investment. Can't comment on durability as I haven't used it for long - I think it probably won't disappoint. My last basket was a cheaper price point (50% less) but that's exactly what I got, 50% less design, quality & serviceability.
"Great quality" star star star star star Fantastic quality and very easy to assemble. Watched online video first and was together in about 6 minutes Very well thought out design and looks great. Separate grab handles on the bags are a nice touch too
"Quality, pain to assemble" star star star star star_border Very pleased with the quality and ideal for my needs, but a pain to assemble hence only 4* rating.
"No star for assembly frustration : Strength needed!" star star star star star_border After owning this for several months I have only just managed to place the cover on taught. The instructions and demo make it all look so easy but it took two of us with the aid of a screwdriver to force the fabric into the ridges top & bottom. I love the separate laundry baskets but the fabric kept slouching every time I thought it was on correctly. It was only after I became so annoyed about the appearance and went back to the start that we finally got the fabric taught. I would have been hours as it requires a *lot* of strength I have a bruised finger tip now JJ need to read reviews
"Great Idea, but..." star star star star_border star_border Looks lovely. Great idea to have 2 separate and easier-to-handle inner bags, rather than trying to lug the whole of one (divided) bag downstairs. However, it was a pain to assemble. My other half, with arthritic hands, had to use a pair of pliers to tension the canvas outer upwards and then broke 3 finger nails, and split a finger end trying to put the edges into the top slot. Also, the basket doesn't take heavy weights. As I have used our old sturdy one in the past to lean on for support when bending arthritic hips and knees to pick up something from the floor, that's going to be a problem. support_agent A note from the team Thank you for your review and for taking the time to speak to us this afternoon. We're glad your husband didn't need any further medical treatment and you're now finding the laundry basket so useful!
