With its built-in separate fabric totes – one for lights, one for darks – Joseph Joseph’s Tota Laundry Separation Basket means you never have to worry about a bright red sock getting tangled up with your white sheets again.

Plus it holds a huge 90 litres of dirty washing, making it perfect for large families who get through a lot of laundry, and looks rather stylish too.

Easy to fill, easy to empty

Under the lid, there are two internal fabric tote bags that allow you to separate out your light and dark fabrics. And when they’re full, you just lift them out using the comfy handles at the top and carry them straight to the machine. So there’s no need to move the whole hamper when it’s time to put a wash on – and no more fallen socks left on the stairs!

Easy to carry too

Better still, when you get to the machine, handles on the base of the totes make emptying them a breeze, so you don’t have to bury your hands in your dirty laundry. When you come to put the totes back in the hamper, the plastic rims at the top slot perfectly back into the holes at the top of the hamper, so replacing them is a doddle – no fiddly ties or buttons here.

Practical and stylish

With a simple, stylish fabric finish, this is one laundry hamper that you won’t worry about having out on display – far from it! And when the totes themselves get dirty (we’re looking at you, school PE kit!), you can detach them from the plastic rims at the top – they fasten with a simple hook & loop strip so they’re easy to remove – and pop them in the wash with the rest of your laundry.

You will have to build this hamper yourself, but it comes with everything you need to put it together, including that all-important Allen key – and full instructions.
